San Rafael Vineyard

Climate

Our San Rafael vineyard has a Mediterranean climate, strongly influenced by the cold night wind blowing down from the Andes mountains. This effect increases the daily temperature oscillation, reducing the maximum temperatures and helping the fruit to ripen slowly and in good condition.

Soil

Gentle slopes with sedimentary soil
of volcanic origin. The slopes are of medium depth, loamy-clayey both superficially and at depth, with a low content of organic matter.

Area under vine: 546 hectares.

Average rainfall: 750 mm per year.

VARIETIES

Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, Syrah, Carmenere, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Pinot Noir, Merlot.
